Wedding Venue Tycoon: Privacy Policy

Wedding Venue Tycoon · Gündoğdu Games · Last updated: 8 October 2026

This text describes what the game and its servers actually do. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and will be before the game is released.

This policy explains what the game Wedding Venue Tycoon ("the game") collects, why, and what you can do about it. We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

  • An anonymous player id. Created at random when the game first connects. It is not your name, e-mail address or phone number. A session token tied to it is kept on your device.
  • Your game progress. A copy of your save (your estate: places, businesses, upgrades, Gems and goals) so it can be restored, with the device model name and game version it came from.
  • A name for your estate (optional). The game lets you give your estate a name of up to 24 characters. It is the only thing you can type in the game. It is shown to you in the game (in the top bar and on the estate's sign), is kept as part of your save and so of its cloud copy, and can be seen by us when we help you with your account. It is not shown to other players and is not meant for posting anything in public: please do not put personal information in it. You can change it in Settings or leave it empty.
  • Gameplay events. Counts of things that happen in the game, such as "an upgrade was bought" or "a goal was completed", with the game version and platform (Android or iOS). We use these to balance and improve the game. They do not include your location, contacts, advertising id or anything typed outside the game.
  • Usage and crash data through Firebase. The game uses Google's Firebase Analytics to count the same kind of gameplay events (which screens are opened, how far the tutorial is followed, which offers are used) and Firebase Crashlytics to learn when the game crashes or a part of it fails (the device model, the system version, and what the game was doing). Firebase gives each installation a random identifier for this. We do not send your name, e-mail address or account details to it, and we have switched off its use of the advertising identifier and of advertising personalisation.
  • Purchases. If you buy something, the store's transaction identifier and the product bought, so the purchase can be checked with the store and restored later. We never receive your payment card details; Apple or Google handle the payment.
  • Account link (optional). Where sign-in with Apple or Google is offered and you choose it, we store the account identifier that service gives us for this game, to find your save again. We do not receive your password, and we do not ask Apple for your name or e-mail address.
  • Notification token (optional). A token from Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) that lets a service message reach your device, together with your notification choices in the game and its language. Messages are only shown if you allow notifications. Reminders about construction, earnings, goals and special clients are scheduled on your device itself and do not pass through our servers.
  • Device check (when you buy or restore). At a purchase or a restore the game may ask Google Play Integrity (or Apple App Attest) to confirm that it is a genuine copy running on a genuine device. We keep the result (for example "recognised" or "not recognised") with your player id. It contains no personal details and is not used to stop you from playing.
  • Support and account security. When you ask us for help, or when we have to act on an account (for example after a payment dispute or misuse), we look up the account by its player id and may see its game state: the save summary, purchases, the devices registered for notifications and recent gameplay events. We may correct an account's Gems or cash, restore a purchase, sign an account out, or suspend or close it. Each such action is recorded with the player id, what was done, when and why.
  • Technical logs. Our servers log requests (time, address path, result, and the network address the request came from) to keep the service running and secure.

Advertising

The game can show optional rewarded video ads, only when you choose to watch one. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect and use data such as your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, your network (IP) address, from which the general area you are in (such as your country or city) can be estimated, how you interact with the ad, and diagnostic data, to show and measure ads, as described in Google's information on how it uses data. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), you are asked for your choice before any ad is requested, and you can change it later in the game under Settings, then Account, then Review ad privacy choices. The game does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps on iOS.

Who else receives data

  • Apple and Google, as the stores that sell and distribute the game and process purchases.
  • Google AdMob, when you watch an ad.
  • Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics), for the usage and crash data described above.
  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (and Apple's push service on iOS), to deliver a notification token and service messages.
  • Google Play Integrity or Apple App Attest, when the device check described above is made.
  • Our hosting providers (Hetzner for servers in Germany, Cloudflare for network delivery), who process data on our behalf.

We do not sell your data. Of these, only Google AdMob uses data for its own advertising purposes; the others process it for us or to provide their own service to you (the stores, the sign-in).

What we do not collect

The game does not ask for or collect your name, e-mail address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, files, or your precise location, and it has no chat or other way to talk to other players. We do not use your location ourselves; the only location information involved is the general area that Google AdMob may estimate from the network address when an ad is requested. The only text you can enter in the game is the optional name of your estate, described above.

How long we keep it

  • Your player record, save, account link, purchase records, notification token and device-check result are kept for as long as you have an account, and are deleted when you delete it.
  • Gameplay events tied to your player id are deleted after about 90 days, or earlier when you delete your account. Daily totals that name no player are kept.
  • Database backups are kept for 14 days, so deleted data leaves the backups within 14 days.
  • Server logs are limited in size and overwritten as they fill.
  • A record of a deletion (the player id and the date) is kept so we can show that it was carried out.
  • The record of support actions on an account (the player id, what was done, when and why) is kept after the account is deleted, without your save, your estate's name or anything else of the account, so that changes to accounts can be accounted for.
  • Data held by Google (Firebase, AdMob) and by the stores is kept on their schedules; Firebase Analytics data about individual installations is set to expire automatically.

Deleting your account

In the game: Settings, then Account, then Delete my account and data. You are asked twice; then your player, save, account link, purchase records, notification registrations and gameplay events are deleted from our servers at once, and the game starts again as a new guest. This works for guests and for players signed in with Apple or Google. If you no longer have the game, use the delete-account page, which also lists exactly what is deleted and what is kept. Deleting your account does not refund purchases, and the stores keep their own record of payments.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Your choices and rights

You can play without signing in, without notifications and without watching ads. You can delete your account and everything linked to your player id as described above. You can also ask us for a copy of that data: write to [email protected] and include the ID shown in the game under Settings, then Account. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device's settings. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR, KVKK or CCPA, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

This website uses no cookies and no third-party analytics. Our web server logs requests as described under technical logs.
