Wedding Venue Tycoon: Delete your account and data
This page is for players of Wedding Venue Tycoon who want their account and the data linked to it deleted from our servers.
The quick way: in the game
Open the game and go to Settings, then Account, then Delete my account and data. After you confirm twice, your account and data are deleted from our servers at once and the game starts again from zero. This works whether you play as a guest or signed in with Apple or Google.
Without the game: ask here
You do not need to have the game installed any more to ask.
How to ask
- Open the game, go to Settings, then Account, and note the Player id shown there (it looks like
1b4e28ba-2fa1). An ID that begins withguest-means the game never reached our servers from that device, so there is nothing of yours on them to delete. - Type it below and send the request. An e-mail address is optional; we use it only to tell you when it is done or to ask if something is unclear.
- We delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.
If you no longer have your ID (for example, the game is no longer installed), or the form does not work for you, write to [email protected] from the address you can be reached at and tell us which sign-in (Apple or Google) you used, if any. We will help you find the account.
What is deleted
- Your player id and the session tokens tied to it.
- The link to your Apple or Google account, if you signed in.
- Your cloud save: your estate, the name you gave it, its places, businesses, upgrades, Gems and goals.
- Your purchase records and what they unlocked in the game.
- The push notification registrations of your devices.
- The gameplay events recorded for your player id.
What is kept, and for how long
- Database backups still contain the data for up to 14 days and are then overwritten.
- Anonymous daily totals (for example, how many upgrades were bought on a day) are kept; they name no player.
- A record of the request (the player id and the date) is kept so we can show that it was carried out. The e-mail address you gave is removed when the request is closed.
- A record of support actions taken on the account, if there were any (the player id, what was done, when and why), is kept without the account's data.
- The stores' own records. Apple and Google keep the record of payments made through them; we cannot delete those. Deleting your account here does not refund purchases.
- Usage and crash data at Google (Firebase, AdMob) is not tied to your name or e-mail address and expires on Google's schedule. You can reset or remove your advertising id in your device settings.
The copy on your device
The game also keeps its save on your phone or tablet. To remove it, uninstall the game (or clear its data in the device settings). If you open the game again afterwards, it starts fresh as a new guest player.
